THE TOP POINT MODEL

A Repeatable Automotive Fitment & Service Franchise Model

The franchise is being structured around consistent customer experience, disciplined workshop operations and a central digital engine that helps local franchisees compete.

FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT STATUS

Expressions of interest are open nationally

Top Point currently operates its physical workshop in Turffontein, Johannesburg South. The national franchise programme is being developed for approved future locations across South Africa. Territory pages describe recruitment opportunities, not existing Top Point branches.

Core service mix

Approved locations may offer a defined mix of tyres, tyre fitment, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, brakes, batteries, suspension, scheduled servicing, diagnostics, fleet maintenance and other approved services based on the franchise format and equipment level.

Central systems, local execution

The national brand should provide operating standards, website and SEO infrastructure, quotation and booking pathways, lead handling standards, customer communication templates, national campaigns, reporting and continuous optimisation. The franchisee remains responsible for excellent execution at local level.

Owner-operator culture

Top Point intends to favour engaged operators who understand that automotive trust is built through accurate diagnosis, clear approvals, disciplined workmanship, customer communication and after-service accountability.

Accreditation and compliance

Any industry accreditation, statutory registration, insurance, health-and-safety requirement or workshop certification applicable to a franchise must be obtained and maintained by the relevant business. Joining the Top Point network does not automatically confer third-party accreditation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Franchise questions

Do I need to be a qualified mechanic?

Not necessarily, but the outlet must employ or contract the qualified technical capability required for the services it performs. The franchisee must still be able to manage people, customers, finances and standards.

Can I be an investor rather than an operator?

Top Point can consider investor-led applications, but the proposed outlet must have a credible day-to-day operator and management structure.

Can services differ by franchise format?

Yes. A compact fitment centre may have a narrower approved service mix than a full fitment and service centre.
