FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT STATUS

Top Point currently operates its physical workshop in Turffontein, Johannesburg South. The national franchise programme is being developed for approved future locations across South Africa. Territory pages describe recruitment opportunities, not existing Top Point branches.
South African franchise documentation
Before a formal franchise is sold, Top Point intends to complete the legal and operating package required for responsible franchising, including a compliant Franchise Agreement, Disclosure Document and operating/procedures manual. Prospective franchisees should obtain independent legal and accounting advice.
Disclosure and cooling-off periods
South African franchise rules require important pre-contract disclosure and provide franchisees statutory protections. FASA guidance explains that the Disclosure Document should be provided at least 14 days before signature/acceptance of money, while section 7 of the Consumer Protection Act provides a 10-business-day cancellation right after signing. Final documentation should be prepared and reviewed by qualified South African franchise professionals.

Franchise questions
What is the target franchise fee?
The current launch target is R65,000 excluding VAT, with a provisional Founding Partner target of R49,500 excluding VAT for the first 10 approved territories. These figures remain subject to the final disclosure and franchise documents.
What are the target ongoing fees?
The current planning target is 4% management royalty and 1.5% national marketing contribution, subject to the final agreement and defined turnover calculation.
Does Top Point guarantee turnover or profit?
No. No turnover, profit, payback or return on investment is guaranteed.
Can I sell my franchise later?
Transfer, resale, renewal and exit rights will be governed by the final Franchise Agreement, including any approval requirements and fees.
What happens if I want to cancel after signing?
South African franchisees have statutory protections under the Consumer Protection Act. Prospective franchisees should review the actual agreement and obtain independent legal advice regarding all cancellation rights.
