FRANCHISE INVESTMENT PLANNER
Plan Your Top Point Franchise Investment
Compare the three Top Point launch formats and build a planning envelope before you apply. The planner is for budgeting only and does not estimate earnings or guarantee final establishment cost.
FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT STATUS
Expressions of interest are open nationally
Top Point currently operates its physical workshop in Turffontein, Johannesburg South. The national franchise programme is being developed for approved future locations across South Africa. Territory pages describe recruitment opportunities, not existing Top Point branches.
Start with a realistic planning envelope
Use the planner below to build a cautious establishment envelope. It starts with Top Point's current provisional launch target, then adds the working-capital amount and contingency you choose. It does not estimate turnover, profit or payback.
Current target bases: conversion R395,000 · compact R695,000 · full R995,000.
What to budget outside the headline target
- VAT where applicable.
- Opening stock and consumables.
- Working capital for payroll, rent, utilities and early operating expenses.
- Lease deposits, landlord requirements and utility deposits.
- Finance charges and insurance.
- Site-specific building, electrical, compressed-air, signage or workshop works.
- Any equipment gap identified during site or conversion assessment.
Keep financing separate from affordability
Equipment or business finance can spread cash requirements but also creates repayment obligations. Applicants should assess debt service conservatively and obtain independent accounting and financial advice before signing any finance or franchise agreement.
PLANNING TOOL
Build a cautious establishment budget envelope
Select a format, enter the working-capital amount you want to reserve, and choose a contingency percentage. The result is a planning envelope only—not a quote, finance approval, profit forecast or final franchise cost.
VAT, opening stock, property/lease costs, finance charges, utility deposits and extraordinary site works may still sit outside this planning envelope unless included in a final written package.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Franchise questions
Does the planner show the final franchise price?
No. It is a budgeting tool based on provisional launch targets. Final costs depend on the approved format, site, equipment, premises, working capital and formal franchise documentation.
Does the planner estimate profit or ROI?
No. It deliberately does not calculate sales, profit, payback or return on investment.
Should I include working capital?
Yes. A workshop needs enough liquidity for payroll, rent, utilities, stock and operating expenses while the customer base develops. The appropriate amount depends on the final business plan.
IMPORTANT
Franchise information, not a binding offer
Website content and indicative pricing are for recruitment and planning only. No turnover, profit, payback period, finance approval, territory award or business outcome is guaranteed. Final rights, costs, inclusions, obligations, territory terms and cancellation rights must be contained in compliant written franchise documentation. Prospective franchisees should obtain independent legal, accounting and financial advice before making an investment decision.
